A Quizzing Newsletter

Bloom is a quizzing newsletter that will have content that talks about quizzing with some questions mixed in. This will not be like the same old super technical newsletter that just includes a long list of quiz questions and results of recent quizzes that have happened. Quizzers get enough of that already from other sources.

It is going to be super-refreshing content. Read on to find out…

Why this, why now?

As far as I can remember, I never wanted to be a quizzer.

But things happen in college…

and now as I complete one-fifth of a decade of casually being in my college quiz club I’ve come to two major realizations :

I’m a noob quizzer. (clearly, because I never wanted to be good)
Quizzing and all is fun until your opponent team gets a hint for the question that you already knew the answer to. Yeah yeah... that shit is mind-burning.

WAIT... There is a thirdthing I believe in too:

that I like and enjoy the process of quizzing. The art of framing questions, the skill of deducing answers to questions you've never heard of, the tales of the facts that are connected to the answers, the pounce/bounce formats and a whole lot more.

In the meantime, I also longed to improve my quizzing skills. For that, I needed a good source. Where I could get all the facts and tales of this world or maybe a good newsletter that could show me how to do so.

Now that I can't find any, it's time for me to start my own.

Why read this?

You might be a seasoned quizzer or just a normal reader…so why would you ever read a quizzing newsletter by two female authors (no this is not a commentary on the men-women ratio in quizzing) who themselves have been amateur quizzers.

Well simply because.. this newsletter is the product by the same people who understand its need. We know what content to deliver since we went on the same chase. We're on a mission to help you become the smartest at your dinner table.

What exactly you can expect from this newsletter:

Unexplored genres, less talked facts, and knowledge on some incredible subjects that are important to know as a quizzer.
Explaining the art of framing quiz questions on the same genres.
Breakdown and strategies to work out on particular kinds of questions like audio-based, funda, connect, picture-based, timeline, etc.
At the end will provide a few good questions to try your hands on.

We'll make it fun and cozy like snuggling up to you on a cold Sunday afternoon in bed.
